I’ve been playing for decades, including five years on the Ohio University club team. Later I played in both Colorado and New Mexico, and twice competed at the U.S. Nationals with The Dinosaurs, a team of ancients. Now that my knees are giving out, jumping is not as much fun, but I still play: can’t live without it. As my T-shirt says: Eat, Sleep, Volleyball.

And for the first time in my life in any sport, I’ve become a fan of a team. Mine is the Ohio University woman’s volleyball team, and you can follow it’s ascendant glory on the website I run with a friend: matchpointohio.com
