Before my knees gave out, I played decades of competitive volleyball, starting with five years on the Ohio University club team. Later I played in both Colorado and New Mexico, and twice competed at the U.S. Nationals with The Dinosaurs, a team of ancients. More recently, I played for decades with a grand bunch of fanatics, young and old, here in Athens, Ohio.

Along the way, I finally became the fan of a team: a devoted fan of Ohio University's women's volleyball team. Over the years I've made some 90 videos of their matches, their players, their glory. You can see these on YouTube at
